Terms of Service

Governing law & venue: Malta (courts of Malta)

1) Acceptance & eligibility

By using Uniswipe you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You represent you are EU/UK 16+ or US 13+. We enforce eligibility via graduation year and may refuse submissions that indicate you are under-age.

2) The Service

Uniswipe provides a university discovery/matching experience and emails a personalized shortlist. We do not guarantee admissions outcomes or third-party offers.

3) No accounts (MVP)

At MVP there are no persistent user accounts; you use an onboarding form and email gate.

4) Permitted use & restrictions

  • Limited, revocable, non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial use.
  • No scraping, reverse engineering, bypassing rate limits, or security interference.
  • No unlawful, infringing, misleading, or abusive use; no false info.

5) Your submissions

You own your inputs. You grant Uniswipe a license to process them to operate/improve the Service and—if you consent—to share/sell them to partners who may contact you.

6) Communications

We may send service emails (e.g., your shortlist). We do not send Uniswipe marketing at MVP. Partners may contact you only if you opt in to sharing/sale.

7) Third-party services

We are not responsible for third-party sites, partners, or their policies/terms.

8) Disclaimers & liability

Provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and exclude indirect/special/consequential damages. If a cap is required by law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed €50.

9) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for misuse or violations of these Terms or applicable law.

10) Termination; changes

We may suspend/terminate to protect the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference. If there is a conflict, the stricter privacy terms apply to personal data.

We use Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics. No personal data is tracked. Learn more.
